Srini Madala, Chairman
Srini Madala is the Founder of SoftSol Inc. and the SoftSol group of companies. He served as the Chairman and CEO until early 2012, and is currently Chairman of the Board of the SoftSol group of companies. With more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, he developed SoftSol’s global presence by successfully executing large mission-critical IT projects of well-known corporations and government organizations within and outside the United States.
Srini serves on the Board of Directors at KQED, a nonprofit public media organization in San Francisco, and has also served the city of Monte Sereno in the capacity of Site and Architecture Commissioner. Srini is involved in multiple charitable activities, including personal contributions for nonprofits in health, education, and entrepreneurship. As a Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley, he assisted and mentored aspiring entrepreneurs.
An alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Srini received his graduate diploma in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He now resides in Monte Sereno with his wife Durga, a practicing cardiologist in San Jose, and their two children. He enjoys running, golf, and travel.
Robert Hersh, Chief Financial Officer
As SoftSol’s Chief Financial Officer, Robert Hersh has more than 25 years of experience in this capacity, in both public and private high tech companies. He has extensive experience in both local and global markets, and has successfully managed large-scale acquisitions, global audits, tax planning and compliance, investment programs, and implemented successful hedging programs.
Most recently, Robert served as CFO at Saama Technology, Inc., a business intelligence company, and prior to that spent 11 years at Sierra Atlantic, Inc., where he played an executive role in building the company’s global services business, establishing and growing significant operations in the U.S., India and China, numerous strategic acquisitions, and the eventual acquisition of the Company by Hitachi Consulting. Ltd, in 2010. Robert has also served as CFO of technology-based public companies including Oak Technologies, SEEQ Technologies and Network Peripherals, and was a senior manager with KPMG.
Robert holds an MBA from the California State University of Sacramento, a BA in Accounting from the California State University of Stanislaus, and a California CPA Certification.
R.K. Ghanta, Vice President of Consulting Services
RK brings over 30 years of rich business background servicing both large and small clients across a variety of industries. As Vice President of Consulting Services, RK leads a seasoned team of cross-functional resources. His experience encompasses diverse functions spanning Sales, Account Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, Immigration, Procurement, and Contract Oversight etc.
With his experience in building businesses and serving large clients, he brings rich expertise that is propelling SoftSol to the next level. His passion is to be a driver for business transformation both on the client side and internally at SoftSol, and he strives to build a diverse talent pool that meets the market’s needs.
R.K. has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.
